Lately, I’ve been perusing the pregnancy section of the library. I came across Raising Baby Green: The Earth-Friendly Guide to Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Baby Care. I’m not really looking for any guidance on “green” topics, but it is a topic I care about, and I figured I could at least review it for LoveLiveGrow. Plus, in the meantime, I might learn a thing or two.
Instead of any education or pleasure, though, all I got out of this book were frustration, anger, and incredulous sputters. Keep Reading

Hand Washing Dishes

Joshua and I have been slightly annoyed with our dishwasher ever since we moved into The Wallow. Sometimes it doesn’t get the dishes very clean. It often leaves horrible water spots on the dishes. We can’t run the microwave and the dishwasher at the same time. And then we got a notice that there was a defect in the dishwasher that might cause a fire, but it wasn’t under warranty, so we’d have to pay for the repair. Ugh.
A couple of months ago, we decided to make the whole-hearted switch to hand washing. This has a lot of benefits for us, even beyond leaving behind the annoying washing machine. Keep Reading
