Welcome to the World, Dylan

Many more stories to come later, but it’s the first night home from the hospital, so I’ve got some pictures to offer and then I’m getting some sleep. Enjoy!

  1. welcome to the world, dylan! so very beautiful, the both of you:) i can’t wait to hear all about the labor and meet him. and squeeze him. and kiss him. and call him george. LOL love to you all!

  2. oh, i can’t forget joshua and dylan’s picture! precious!!

  3. Congratulations, he’s absolutely gorgeous!

I hope your hospital transfer was respectful (on the hospital’s part). I’ve had a homebirth transfer myself, as have (too many) friends of mine.

    • The transfer actually went really, really well. I’m happy with pretty much the entire hospital experience. I’m sure I’ll post much more about it later.

      • That’s wonderful! Congrats again!

      • +1 to this. The doctor was incredibly respectful of our desire to have a vaginal birth, even though she was completely aware of our situation. I’ve heard many horror stories about homebirth transfers, but this was the exact opposite of that.

  4. Love, love, love the photos! I’ve been waiting anxiously to see more photos of little baby Dylan. Congratulations!

  5. Gorgeous! Congratulations!

  6. Oh, absolutely beautiful, all of you! Congratulations :)

  7. I must comment both places! Freakin’ adorable -all of you. Bursting with happiness for you. You have a baby! OMG!

  8. Beautiful pics. Best wishes to mom and dad.

  9. Hospital transfer? The birth chat link didn’t work for me, just kept taking me back to the blog post page about it – but ANYWAYS, glad everything seems to be OK, and I hope whatever happened isn’t going to prevent me from seeing you three next week. That picture of D & Josh is painfully precious.

    • Yes, I transfered to the hospital and had Dylan by C-section. I’m sure you’ll hear all about it! As of now, we still plan to be at Euphoria. I’m glad you’ll be there, too! I’ll probably spend most of the time sitting in our camp, so come see me! :-)

  10. I had been checking your blog every day or two… waiting for the news. Wonderful photos! I can hardly wait to read your birth story!

  11. Dylan is gorgeous! Congratulations to you and Joshua! I hope you are both doing great, can’t wait to hear more.
