Baby’s First Camping Trips

Only 10 days after Dylan was born we went camping at a burn event called Euphoria. It was great to introduce everyone to Dylan. It was a short trip, just two nights. In October we’ll be doing Alchemy, which will be a bit more involved: 5 nights long, plus we’ll be taking our theme camp, Fucking Awesome, so I’ll have a lot more to do at the burn. There will also be lots of people there to help, plus I’ll have my trusty Moby wraps, plus Dylan is a pretty happy baby wherever he is, so I expect everything will go smoothly and be a lot of fun.

Speaking of Moby wraps, I didn’t get many pictures at Euphoria, but check out this awesome photo captured by Brittany Hannah. (Check out her website for more great photography.)

  1. Gorgeous! The love you feel for him is all over your face! Absolutely beautiful! Though it does make me want to see a photo of Daddy, too.

Oooh! and look at that! I’m the #4 top commenter! That is pretty cool.

    • I think the only photo of Joshua and Dylan that I’ve posted was here – http://lovelivegrow.com/2011/06/welcome-to-the-world-dylan/ I could use some more because I like looking at both of them. :-)

Yay for commenters! Pretty soon I’ll be back to commenting on other blogs, but I’m just now getting the hang of using the computer with Dylan on me or nearby. I can still read things on my phone, but it’s hard to comment from there.

  2. Great shot of the two of you, I thought I would find a better explanation of the event you are going to but I guess i will have to google it.

    • There is an Alchemy Festival that is a music fest in the UK. That’s not the one we’re talking about. Search for Alchemy: The Georgia Burn for more info.

  3. I enjoy seeing any/all pictures of Dylan. You and Joshua are simply asides. :-)
