The One Word That Describes Your Parenting

If you had to pick one word to describe your parenting, what would it be?

The word you think of probably isn’t what you had in mind when you started parenting. It might be a word like stressful or rushed or resentful.

If your children were to describe you in one word, what do you think it would be?

For a real moment of truth – ask them.

Your word is not a goal. It’s not something you’re failing to achieve. It will never be something that you arrive at and then never look back.

Rather, this word is a mood, a feeling, a sensation.

Your word is an idea and an inspiration.

Today might look like one word and tomorrow like another. Any day where your values shine through is a good day. Any day you and your kids find a moment that is rewarding for both of you is a good day.
